Denise Marsa is an internationally renowned singer, songwriter, producer, a music mentor and entrepreneur. In 1997, after two decades in the music business, Marsa took matters into her own hands, and formed Denise Marsa Productions and through its own label, KeyMedia Group, Denise self-produced, promoted and paid for all aspects of her debut 11-song CD, “SELF.” The eagerly anticipated album, “SELF,” garnered critical acclaim and in 2009 the CD went live on iTunes.
Initiating Denise Marsa Productions, LLC company and its recording and production label, KeyMedia Group, led Denise to also take charge of her own PR and marketing campaign, which was an eye opening experience and a time Marsa describes as her ‘chaotic revolution.’ She subsequently formed KeyMedia Public Relations, a boutique firm focusing on mentoring new talent and bringing them together with the arts and entertainment industries.
The first two decades of her career marked Marsa’s achievement as a vocalist with two successful chart-topping hit records, “Lucky Stars,” a duet with Dean Friedman, and as the lead vocalist on The Flirts dance record, “Helpless (You Took My Love).” While living in London, she wrote songs under contract with Warner Brothers UK Ltd. Later, while in Los Angeles, she wrote for Warner Chappell.
Marsa now resides in the New York City Metro Area, and her sophomore CD release is currently in pre-production.
